Our Journey
Whilst High Kick Dance may be a new entrant to the dance and performing arts community, we bring with us a wealth of talent, experience and knowledge right from the get-go. Our team is highly skilled and well versed in the entertainment industry, both in Australia and around the world. We have come together to offer dance, acting, acrobatics, and more to those wanting to enter the industry but also to those who want to have some fun, build fitness, and make new friends.
High Kick Dance offers a wide range of dance and performing arts opportunities within the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, with two studios holding classes weekly. We offer set classes as well as casual sessions for all ages ranging from 2 to 102 (if you can move we have a class for you). To ensure classes are suitable for those who can attend, we offer a range of options across styles, age groups and abilities. The teachers at High Kick Dance have a vast range of experience across disciplines. Our collective approach is to share our love of dance while being supportive and encouraging.

Our vision is to create a world where everyone can access the magic of dance. We have witnessed first-hand how dance can build character, confidence, and friendships. This beautiful, enriching sport is an incredible tool to teach body awareness, confidence and friendships. Through our service of teaching, dance, we strive to provide exceptional coaching and leadership to our students. While striving to instil the importance of etiquette and manners, we also focus on good self-esteem and positive body image.

When teaching any style or age groups, we strive to provide exceptional leadership to our students, building talent and developing life skills such as discipline and respect. As we believe a person never stops learning, we work hard to ensure our approach extends to all our students, from children to adults.
